t600-IMG_2413Recently, members of the Waynesville Garden Club planted flowers and shrubs in four separate planters that stand in front of the Within Reach Resale shop in Hazelwood.  Judy Dykes, Kim Powers and Becky Hellman spearheaded the project that was financed by the club.

Image 10The Waynesville Garden club, founded in 1953, currently supports and maintains more than 10 separate gardens throughout Haywood County.

The Within Reach Resale shop is a retail store in Hazelwood that accepts donations of gently used clothing, home goods and furniture. Proceeds from the sale of these items supports the many programs of REACH of Haywood County, a United Way agency that serves survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse.

Stop by the Within Reach store to view the beautification project and to donate items and/or to shop and find a great bargain for that item you have always wanted.
