Sexual Assault Awareness Month(1).jpg

What is Sexual Assault? Sexual assault is any unwanted sexual contact by another person. An assault can be committed by ANYONE, not just a stranger — a friend, an acquaintance, a colleague, a family member, or even an intimate partner. The assault itself can take many forms. Sexual assault can include: - Rape or attempted rape - Sexual touching or fondling - Sexual threats or coercion - Sexual harassment - Revenge porn (the sharing of explicit images without permission) Don’t give up. We believe you.

What is Domestic Violence? Domestic violence is violence or other abuse in a domestic setting, such as in marriage or cohabitation. Domestic violence is often used as a synonym for intimate partner violence, which is committed by one of the people in an intimate relationship against the other person, and can take place in heterosexual or same-sex relationships, or between former spouses or partners.

What is Elder Abuse? Elder abuse is a single, or repeated act, or lack of appropriate action, occurring within any relationship where there is an expectation of trust, which causes harm or distress to an older person.

Happy Family

There is NO EXCUSE for domestic violence, sexual assault, teen-dating violence, elder abuse, or human-trafficking.
