REACH of Haywood County is a safe, nonjudgmental place for people in crisis. If you are experiencing dating or domestic violence, sexual assault or harassment, stalking, elder abuse, or human trafficking, you are not alone. We are here to help.

Not sure if what you’re going through is abuse? You can still reach out. You don’t need the right words or a clear plan. We can listen, talk things through with you, and help you explore next steps—at your pace.

From our 24-hour crisis helpline to emergency shelter, legal advocacy, counseling, and community education, REACH is here to walk beside you as you find the support that feels right for you.

Our Services

We provide free, trauma-informed support for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, and human trafficking.

Whether you need immediate shelter, legal help, counseling, or education, we are here for you. If there is something you need that we don’t provide directly, we will help connect you to trusted community resources.

When you connect with us, you’ll meet with a trained advocate who will listen to what you’re going through and help you explore your options.

We never pressure you to make a certain decision. We won’t push you to go to court, file a protective order, leave your home, or speak with law enforcement.

Your choices are always your own. Our role is to support you, help you understand your options, and stand beside you as you decide what feels right.

Many people meet with us more than once as they work through their situation or look for medical, legal, or counseling support. Healing takes time, and we’re here for the whole journey, not just the first visit.
