TAKE STEPS TO PROTECT YOURSELF:

If hurt, go to the hospital or a doctor

Collect evidence of the abuse, such as voicemails, text messages, emails, notes, photos, etc.

If you can go safely, leave. If you have children, bring them with you.

File for a protective order. REACH can help.

Take out criminal charges at the police department or sheriff’s office.

Make emergency arrangements using our Safety Plan.
